Damai II is a 40-metre Indonesian wooden liveaboard operated by Dive Damai. Built in Tanjung Bira in 2011, the vessel combines seven spacious ensuite cabins with a dive setup designed for small groups and personalized service.
The vessel has a 40-metre deck length and a 9-metre beam. The operator normally carries 12 guests with 18 crew, while selected full-boat charters can add two guests for a maximum of 14. Its seven-cabin layout includes five Standard Cabins and two larger Master Staterooms.
Machinery includes a 640 hp Mitsubishi main engine, three generators, two air compressors and two Nitrox systems. Navigation equipment includes GPS plotter, radar, compass, HF and VHF radios and electronic charts. Satellite Wi-Fi is offered as a paid service.
Five Standard Cabins accommodate one or two guests. Four below-deck cabins are approximately 20 square metres, with a queen-size double bed, separate day bed, desk, wardrobe, reading lights, television, full air conditioning and a private ensuite bathroom divided into wet and dry zones. Cabin 7 is on the bridge deck.
Two Master Staterooms are more than 40 square metres each. They feature a super-king bed, day beds, two desks, a private deck with loungers and an ensuite shower with a separate toilet. One Master is on the lower deck at the stern and the other is on the main deck.
Damai II has three outdoor deck areas, an outdoor dining facility, lounge and dining saloon, sunbathing areas, and an onboard massage and spa treatment space. Meals are served a la carte and dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.
The dive deck provides personalized stations, individual rinse tanks and a spacious camera room. Trips carry three dive guides and one instructor, supporting a published maximum ratio of four divers per guide. Two custom high-speed tender boats support dive operations.
Unlimited dives are included when requested and conditions permit. Air tanks, weights, weight belts and an SMB if needed are included. Nitrox, rental gear, courses, park and harbour fees, laundry, spa treatments and Starlink data cost extra unless the invoice states otherwise.
