The standard three-day route picks up at nine, reaches Kelor for the trek at eleven, snorkels Manjarite in the early afternoon and finishes at Kalong for the flying foxes.     About This Vessel

    Vinca Voyages is a 31-metre phinisi built at Bulukumba in 2020 and launched in March 2021, designed around a fusion of Japanese and South Sulawesi aesthetics rather than the usual colonial-teak look. That idea carries into the cabins, which are themed rather than graded: two Western Rooms, two Japanese Rooms and two Balinese Rooms.

    The four themed rooms on the upper and main decks have double beds for two guests and their own private balcony. The two Balinese Rooms take a double plus a single bed for two to three guests with a private bathroom but no balcony, and at approximately $420 per person for a three-day trip they are the cheapest berths on board. Every cabin is air-conditioned and ensuite. Confirm the current extra-bed arrangements and maximum occupancy directly.

    She runs a Mitsubishi 8DC9 at eight to twelve knots, built from ironwood and teak, carrying 6,000 litres of fresh water. Navigation is compass, GPS, chart, SSB and VHF radio, with a life raft, life buoys and fire extinguishers aboard.

    Deck space runs to an open deck area, separate indoor and outdoor dining, and lounging areas designed to be photographed. Water activities are snorkelling and paddleboarding; there is no dive centre or compressor. Published private charters run from 2D1N to 4D3N inside Komodo National Park out of Labuan Bajo, and the fare includes drone, GoPro and mirrorless footage supplied unedited.

      Shared 3D2N trips start at approximately $420 per person in the Balinese Cabin. This is the fare for the full three-day, two-night trip, based on a minimum booking of 2 people in that cabin category. Extra-bed prices are separate.

      Private leisure charter starts at approximately $5,585 for the whole vessel on the minimum published 2D1N package, for 1–5 guests. Larger groups, longer trips and diving packages may have different rates.

    What does a themed cabin actually mean?

    The interiors are finished in three distinct styles rather than being graded by size. Two Western Rooms, two Japanese Rooms and two Balinese Rooms. The Western and Japanese Rooms are identical in bed, balcony and price, so choosing between them is a matter of taste. The Balinese Rooms are the cheaper pair and have no balcony.

    Which cabins have a balcony?

    Both Western Rooms and both Japanese Rooms have private balconies. The Balinese Rooms have private bathrooms and air conditioning without a balcony. The published shared 3D2N prices are approximately $505 and $420 per person respectively.

    Can two people charter the whole boat?

    Yes. The published private rate card has a 1–5 guest band, starting at about $5,585 for 2D1N, $6,145 for 3D2N and $6,705 for 4D3N. These are whole-vessel totals.

    How does she get to eighteen guests?

    Additional occupancy depends on extra-bed arrangements. Confirm the current maximum, each cabin's allowed occupancy and the trip-specific surcharge with the operator; do not assume an extra bed is available in every room.

    Is diving available?

    No. There is no dive centre, compressor or dive guide on board. Snorkelling gear and a paddleboard are included, and Manta Point appears on the itinerary as a snorkelling stop rather than a dive.

    Are soft drinks included?

    No. Only mineral water, coffee and tea. The exclusion list covers alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, so soft drinks are charged separately, as are crew tips, flights, personal snacks and park entrance fees.
