Navila operates scheduled shared trips and private charters through Komodo from Labuan Bajo.
Current operator schedules show 2D1N and 3D2N departures from KP3 Port at 10:00, combining the national park’s core trekking, snorkeling and island stops with overnight time aboard a six-cabin phinisi.
The 14-guest capacity keeps the group smaller than many high-density open-trip vessels, while Starlink and airport/harbour transfers reduce two common logistical pain points.
The exact sequence of stops can shift with weather, tides and park operations, so this summary describes how Navila is used in Komodo rather than fixing a day-by-day itinerary.
Suits: couples, families and groups that want a six-cabin boat with unusually generous outdoor space. The current operator booking page allows up to fourteen guests and lists Starlink, so Navila is particularly practical for a group that needs connectivity rather than a total digital blackout.nnAlso works for: cabin buyers on the operator’s scheduled departures. All six rooms are sold as private, air-conditioned accommodation with ensuite bathrooms and hot showers, while private charter remains available for groups that want the whole boat.nnLess suited to: guests choosing a boat primarily for scuba diving. Navila is marketed around snorkeling, paddleboarding, trekking and island visits; no verified compressor, Nitrox system or fixed dive-guide ratio is published. For a dive-first trip, choose a vessel with a source-backed dive operation rather than assuming every Komodo phinisi is dive-equipped.
Navila is a six-cabin Komodo phinisi sold both as a shared departure and a private charter. The operator's current booking system lists capacity at up to 14 guests, not 12, and confirms Starlink internet, airport and harbour pickup, onboard meals and ensuite bathrooms with hot-water showers. That combination makes Navila one of the easier boats in this tier for travellers who still need reliable connectivity and straightforward arrival logistics while sailing from Labuan Bajo.
The published accommodation is built around six private guest cabins, including two master cabins in the current layout. With only six rooms for a maximum of 14 guests, the vessel avoids the dormitory-style density found on larger open-trip boats. A jacuzzi and multiple outdoor relaxation areas add more usable social space during the long gaps between trekking, snorkeling and sunset stops.
Navila's standard Komodo program is operationally clear. Current 3D2N departures embark at Labuan Bajo's KP3 Port at 10:00 and return at about 13:00 on the final day. The shorter 2D1N schedule also leaves at 10:00 but returns later, around 16:30. The boat is offered for both open-trip and private use, so the same vessel can suit couples buying a cabin or a family and group taking the whole boat.
This is primarily a leisure-focused Komodo liveaboard rather than a specialist dive boat. The listing therefore emphasises accommodation, snorkeling, paddleboarding, island visits and wildlife encounters, and does not add unverified compressor, Nitrox or dive-guide claims. For buyers comparing similarly sized Komodo phinisi, the strongest differentiators are the six-cabin layout, Starlink and the operator-published 14-guest capacity.

The rate table lists shared-trip accommodation and private whole-boat packages. A private cabin on a shared departure is different from chartering the entire vessel. See Rates & Packages in Cabins & Pricing for trip lengths, units and conditions. Confirm the chosen departure and cabin allocation before payment.
The current operator booking system lists six guest cabins and a maximum of fourteen guests. Two are marketed as Master Cabins and four as Private Cabins. current published package’s older charter bands stop at twelve guests, so a thirteen- or fourteen-person private booking should be quoted directly by the operator rather than extrapolated from the older rate table.
No. Navila is sold as a snorkelling and island-hopping boat. There is no compressor, no tank storage and no diving rate card, and snorkelling equipment and a paddleboard are what is included. Some agents advertise a free diving package as a promotion, which would be run by a third-party dive operator rather than from the boat.
Three separate lounge areas: a forward one with lazy chairs and a table, a midships one with mini sofas and rattan tables, and an aft one with sofas, a TV, home theatre and karaoke. There is also a jacuzzi area on the open deck. For a 28 metre hull this is an unusually generous amount of outdoor seating.
Compare the listed fares in Rates & Packages under Cabins & Pricing. Each offer states its trip length and whether the amount is per person, per cabin or for the whole vessel. Check the selected package conditions, taxes, extra fees and any minimum stay with the operator before payment.
Several safety items. The equipment list names a Garmin MAP 585 GPS, a VHF radio, 25 life jackets, a life buoy and fire extinguishers, but no life raft, no EPIRB and no flares are stated. Watermaker capacity is not published either — she carries 6,000 litres of fresh water in tanks. Ask the operator to confirm liferaft provision before a longer charter.
Pick-up from your hotel or Labuan Bajo airport is between 08:00 and 10:00 on day one. On the 3D2N and longer itineraries the boat returns to Labuan Bajo around 11:00 on the final morning with drop-off from 13:00. The 2D1N runs later, arriving about 17:00.
Up to 8D7N on the published card, which is longer than most boats in this bracket offer. The standard Komodo loop fills three or four days, so the longer bookings are usually used to reach quieter anchorages beyond the main park circuit. Agree the extended route in writing, since only the 2D1N to 4D3N itineraries are published in detail.
