Diara La Oceano at a Glance

Diara La Oceano is a 20-metre traditional phinisi operating private charters and shared trips from Labuan Bajo through Komodo National Park. The vessel accommodates up to 12 guests in five air-conditioned cabins, all listed with bathroom facilities.

The teak-and-ironwood boat has a 4.2-metre beam, a published cruising speed of 8–10 knots and approximately 5,000 litres of freshwater capacity. Current sources agree that it uses a Mitsubishi main engine but differ on the exact model designation, so the engine model should be reconfirmed directly before technical reliance.

Five Cabins for Up to 12 Guests

The current published layout has one Deluxe Ocean View cabin on the upper deck, three Deluxe Ocean View cabins on the main deck and one four-person Sharing Cabin. The four Deluxe cabins each use a queen bed for two guests. The Sharing Cabin uses two queen beds for up to four guests.

All five cabins are air-conditioned. The current cabin table lists a private bathroom for every category, while broader marketing copy refers to both private and shared bathroom arrangements. Guests should therefore confirm the exact bathroom allocation for their sailing in writing.

Dining and Outdoor Areas

Shared areas include a dedicated dining space, outdoor and semi-outdoor chill areas with beanbags, and open deck views. A sound system and karaoke setup provide onboard entertainment between island visits.

Snorkelling equipment, life vests and a canoe are published onboard. A speedboat supports transfers and island visits. The listing does not claim a dedicated scuba-diving setup, making Diara La Oceano primarily suited to leisure-focused Komodo itineraries.

Shared and Private Komodo Trips

Published programmes cover 2 days 1 night and 3 days 2 nights, with the shared 3D2N route commonly departing on Mondays and Fridays. Private dates remain subject to availability.

The standard 3D2N route combines Kelor Island, Manjarite, Kalong Island, Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Manta Point, Taka Makassar and Sebayur. The skipper may adjust the sequence for weather, currents, wildlife and park conditions.

Pricing and Inclusions

The primary charter page currently lists private charter pricing as “Ask for price”. A current secondary source publishes shared-trip rates from IDR 3,000,000 per person for the Sharing Cabin and IDR 4,000,000 per person for a Deluxe Ocean View cabin, with a minimum of two guests. Structured pricing is intentionally left blank because the primary page does not publish a confirmed charter total and the site pricing fields use a different currency context.

Published inclusions cover onboard accommodation, meals, drinking water, coffee and tea, a guide, raw photo and video documentation, snorkelling equipment, life vests and mainland Labuan Bajo hotel or airport transfers. National-park fees, flights, crew gratuities, personal expenses, snacks and separately ordered drinks are excluded.
