Soe Besar Vanrei is a 31.9-metre traditional ironwood phinisi operating private charters and shared trips from Labuan Bajo through Komodo National Park. The published standard layout accommodates up to 16 guests in seven air-conditioned cabins, all with private bathrooms.

The vessel has a 5.76-metre beam, a published cruising speed of 7–9 knots and a Nissan 340 PS RF8 main engine. Electrical power is supplied by a 20 kVA main generator with a 6.8 kVA backup generator. Current supporting material also lists radar, compass, AIS and marine radio equipment.

Seven Cabins with Private Bathrooms

The cabin layout comprises one Cinderela Master Suite Ocean cabin, one Tiana Master Ocean View cabin, two Deluxe Ocean View cabins named Mirable and Tinkerbell, two Superior Cabins named Pocahontas and Mulan, and one four-person Merida Sharing Cabin.

The Master Suite has a queen bed, private bathroom, private balcony, air conditioning and sea views. The Master Ocean View cabin and both Deluxe Ocean View cabins each have a queen bed, private bathroom, air conditioning and sea views. The two Superior Cabins have queen beds, private bathrooms, air conditioning and porthole views. Merida uses bunk beds for four guests and has a private bathroom, air conditioning and porthole views.

Jacuzzi, Dining and Outdoor Spaces

Onboard social spaces include an indoor dining area, lounge, chill area, daybeds and a spacious sun deck. A Jacuzzi, karaoke setup and Smart TV add leisure and entertainment options. Published facilities also include hot-water showers and Wi-Fi.

Snorkelling gear, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards support water activities. A tender boat handles transfers and shore visits. Safety equipment published by current sources includes life jackets, a liferaft, fire extinguishers, a life buoy and first-aid equipment.

Komodo Itinerary

The published 3-day, 2-night route starts from Labuan Bajo and visits Kelor Island, Manjarite and Kalong Island on day one. Day two combines Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Manta Point and Taka Makassar. The final day includes a snorkelling stop before returning to Labuan Bajo. The skipper may adjust the sequence for weather, currents, wildlife and park conditions.

Both private-charter and shared-trip formats are advertised. Exact shared departure dates should be reconfirmed before booking.

Pricing, Inclusions and Booking Terms

The current private-charter headline rate starts from USD 4,950 per night. A current secondary source publishes shared rates from IDR 3,850,000 per person for the four-person Sharing Cabin. Using the project reference rate of IDR 17,900 per USD and rounding to the nearest USD 5, the lowest shared rate is represented as USD 215 per person for filtering.

Published inclusions cover onboard accommodation, meals, drinking water, coffee and tea, a guide, raw photo and video documentation, snorkelling equipment, life jackets and mainland Labuan Bajo hotel or airport transfers. National-park fees, flights, crew gratuities, personal expenses, snacks and separately ordered drinks are excluded.

Current booking terms require a 50% deposit. The deposit is described as non-refundable for participant cancellation, with the remaining balance due no later than 30 days before departure; full payment is required for bookings made within 30 days. Reconfirm the final quotation and terms in writing before payment.
