    The published Komodo program runs 8 days and 7 nights from Labuan Bajo and focuses on Central and North Komodo, not South Komodo.     Raja Ampat

    The published Raja Ampat program runs 11 days and 10 nights from Waisai, combining the Dampier Strait and Misool. Possible sites include Manta Sandy, Blue Magic, Cape Kri, Sardine Reef, Boo Windows and Magic Mountain, with 25 or more dives, kayaking and lagoon visits. The main operating window is November to early May.

    Banda Sea

    About This Vessel

    Akomo Isseki is an approximately 27 m traditional Indonesian phinisi launched in 2018 for small-group dive expeditions. Built by Konjo shipwrights using an ironwood keel, Bitti timber ribs and teak, the vessel uses solar power for its electrical systems and cruises at around 7 knots.

    Four naturally ventilated twin cabins accommodate a maximum of eight guests. Each cabin has two single beds, storage, a fan and sea views through traditional portholes. Cabins do not have air conditioning or ensuite bathrooms; guests share two bathrooms equipped with warm showers and flush toilets.

    Akomo Isseki runs scheduled dive trips and is also available for private charter on request. The published Komodo program is 8 days and 7 nights from IDR 23 million per person, approximately $1,285 using Komodo Insider's reference exchange rate. The Raja Ampat program is 11 days and 10 nights from IDR 44 million per person. Park, village and harbour fees, transfers, rental dive equipment, soft drinks and alcohol are additional.
