Komodo trips depart from Labuan Bajo. The published 3D2N route begins with Kelor, Manjarite and the flying-fox sunset at Kalong Island; continues to Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Manta Point and Taka Makassar; and finishes around Siaba and Sebayur before returning to Labuan Bajo. Private 2D1N and 4D3N routes adjust the stop list, while weather, sea conditions and park operations can change the order.
Suitable for couples, solo travellers and small groups joining a shared departure, as well as families and groups of friends booking the full boat. The mix of four private double cabins and one four-berth bunk cabin gives groups flexibility without giving up private bathrooms or air conditioning.
3 Island Liveaboard is a 22 m by 6 m traditional wooden phinisi operating Komodo National Park trips from Labuan Bajo. The vessel carries up to 14 guests in five air-conditioned, sea-view cabins and cruises at approximately 7–8 knots with a Mitsubishi 6D15 engine.
The cabin plan has two Private Cabin 1 and 2 rooms with a double bed plus an extra bed for up to three guests each, two Private Cabin 3 and 4 rooms with a double bed for two guests each, and one Sharing Cabin Sea View with four single bunk beds. Every cabin has an ensuite bathroom and air conditioning.
The operator publishes both shared 3D2N departures and private charters. The lowest shared rate is IDR 3.5 million per person, approximately $195 using Komodo Insider's reference exchange rate. Private charter rates start from IDR 52 million, approximately $2,905, for a 2D1N trip. Komodo National Park fees are separate.
Published safety and navigation equipment includes 25 life jackets, a liferaft, two ring buoys, AIS, Garmin GPS, compass, radio communication, fire extinguishers and first-aid equipment. Komodo itineraries combine trekking, snorkeling, wildlife encounters, island hopping and sunset viewing, with exact stops subject to sea, weather and park conditions.
