Angelica sails Komodo National Park year round from Labuan Bajo, with a 09:00 pickup from your hotel or the airport. The standard three-day itinerary works north from Sebayur, taking in Taka Makassar and the manta channel at Karang Makassar, then Padar and Pink Beach at first light on day two, the ranger trek on Komodo island, and the fruit bats at Kalong in the evening before Manjarite and Kelor on the final morning. Shorter day trips and longer four and five-day versions are also sold. Park entrance and ranger fees sit outside the price.

About This Vessel
Angelica is a 38-metre phinisi built in 2024 from ironwood and teak, with her maiden voyage in March 2025 — one of the newest boats working Komodo National Park. The operator currently advertises seven cabins for up to 16 guests, sailing from Labuan Bajo. Confirm the room allocation and any extra-bed arrangements directly.
The cabins are the reason to look at her. Each one is named after an element of Indonesian craft: Candi, the VIP cabin, takes its cues from temple architecture and holds the only king bed onboard; Batik is the first of three master cabins; Keris and Wayang follow the dagger and the shadow puppet. Sasando is the family cabin. All seven have en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water and air conditioning. The four upper cabins — Candi, Batik, Keris and Wayang — add a bathtub and a private balcony, which is unusual at this price point; most boats in the bracket give balconies only to the top two cabins. Sasando, Tenun and Tari sit lower down with sea views instead.
She carries a public jacuzzi, wide sun decks for the afternoon, paddleboards and snorkelling gear. The engine is a Mitsubishi 320 hp and she runs at a relaxed 8 knots, so crossings take a little longer than on the faster boats; in practice this matters most on the Labuan Bajo to Rinca leg.
Angelica sells both ways. Open trips are priced per person by cabin category and shared with other travellers; private charters take the whole boat, from a single day trip up to five days, with the route set by whoever books it. The standard two-day loop covers Kelor, Rinca for the dragons, Kalong at dusk, then Padar at sunrise, Pink Beach, Manta Point and Taka Makassar before the run home.
