Dua operates a classic Komodo circuit from Labuan Bajo in both scheduled 3D2N open-trip and private-charter formats. The route combines short island treks, snorkeling, manta encounters, beaches and wildlife stops rather than a dedicated dive schedule. Published itineraries include Kelor, Manjarite, Kalong, Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Taka Makassar, Manta Point and, depending on trip length and conditions, Siaba, Sebayur, Kanawa, Rangko, Seraya or Sabolo. The exact sequence can change with weather, tides and park instructions.
Suits: couples, families and groups who want a five-cabin Komodo boat with both shared and private booking options. The upper-deck master gives one premium room while the four main-deck deluxe cabins keep the rest of the layout consistent.
Open-trip buyers: scheduled 3D2N departures are sold by cabin, so compare cabin category rather than dividing the whole-boat charter price.
Private groups: the standard physical cabin capacity is 12, with published private pricing allowing extra guests up to 15. Confirm the exact extra-bed arrangement before booking above 12.
Less suited to: dedicated scuba-diving groups. No verified compressor, Nitrox system or fixed dive-guide ratio is published for Dua.
Dua Liveaboard is a 31-metre Komodo phinisi built in 2018 with five ensuite guest cabins. The standard cabin layout accommodates 12 guests, while current private-charter pricing allows additional guests up to a published maximum of 15 using extra-bed arrangements. The vessel is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D16 main engine, cruises at approximately 6 to 9 knots, and carries a crew of seven.
The accommodation is split between one Master Ocean View cabin on the upper deck and four Deluxe Ocean View cabins on the main deck. The master uses a king bed and adds a private balcony, bathtub and walk-in wardrobe. The four deluxe cabins use queen or double-bed configurations with private bathrooms, air conditioning and sea views. This gives shared-trip guests two clear room categories while keeping the physical layout simple for private groups.
Dua operates both scheduled 3D2N open trips and whole-boat private charters from Labuan Bajo. Open-trip inventory is sold by cabin, while private charters are published from 2D1N to 4D3N. Onboard facilities include outdoor dining, a sundeck, LED TV, sound system, kayak, stand-up paddleboard and snorkeling equipment. Wi-Fi is included on published packages, but the connection type is not specified, so the structured internet field remains unclassified.
