Kaia is a 26-metre phinisi built in 2022 from ironwood and teak. Each guest cabin has its own balcony. Six ocean-view cabins, four with double beds and two with singles, twelve guests, and seven crew.

The tankage tells the same story. She carries 16,000 litres of fresh water against 7,000 litres of fuel on a 26-metre hull, a ratio built for long trips with divers rinsing gear rather than two-night island hops.
Mechanically she runs a 320 hp Mitsubishi Marine with two 30 kVA diesel generators at seven to ten knots, navigating on Garmin GPSmap with AIS and an Icom SSB marine transceiver. The tender takes twelve, the full guest complement, on a 40 hp engine. Safety equipment covers a life raft, life jackets, fire extinguishers and ring buoys.
One of four double-bed cabins, ocean view with its own private balcony, ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. On a 26-metre hull, giving every cabin private outdoor space is the design decision that defines this boat.
The second double cabin, matching the first: ocean view, private balcony, ensuite, air conditioning.
The third double, same specification.
The last of the four double cabins, identical in fit-out and balcony access.
One of two single-bed cabins, also ocean view with a private balcony and ensuite bathroom. These two are what let solo divers board without paying for a whole double.
The operator offers open and private trips. Ask for the total per-person fare for a scheduled departure; a current shared-package price has not been verified.
Private leisure charter starts at approximately $4,860 for the whole vessel on the minimum published 3D2N package, for 1–8 guests. Larger groups, longer trips and diving packages may have different rates.

Yes, all six. Four have double beds and two have single beds, and every one is an ocean-view cabin with its own private balcony, ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. On a 26-metre hull that is unusual: larger boats in this directory typically reserve balconies for two or three top cabins.
The operator's website offers an Open Trip enquiry option. Ask about current departures, cabin sharing, minimum booking requirements and the total per-person fare.
The published private rate card uses 1–8 and 9–12 guest bands. For 3D2N leisure, the totals are approximately $4,860 and $5,865 respectively. Request a quote for your exact group.
Because she is built around diving. That is more fresh water than several 38-metre boats in this directory carry, against only 7,000 litres of fuel. Divers rinsing gear and showering after three or four dives a day use far more water than guests on a two-night island cruise.
Flights, hotels in Labuan Bajo, personal dive gear which can be rented, travel and dive accident insurance, alcohol and personal expenses, Komodo National Park entrance fees, photo and video documentation, and crew tips. Dive guides, tanks and weight belts are included on the diving packages.
